Unfortunately, posters like these are hung every day in communities all across our country.  Family pets that were not supposed to go outside; don’t like to go outside or never used to venture far from home disappear without a trace.

Families, just like yours, are heartbroken searching for their furry friends!

I’VE BEEN LITERALLY GOING CRAZY

…talking to everyone that will listen about the benefits of implanting a microchip into their family pet. It’s their only lifeline home when lost or injured.

1 in 3 pets will become lost during their lifetime and according to the American Humane Society only 15% of lost dogs and 2% of lost cats ever find their way home. Almost 4 millions pets are euthanized every year, including many that never found their way home.

I started MicroChip USA to ensure that cost is never a barrier to implanting a micro chip in every pet and that no family has to endure the loss of their furry friend.

You’ve Got a Responsibility…

Dear Pet Guardian:

The joy that our pets bring to our lives is immeasurable. They greet us at the door, are always glad to see us, shower us with affection and open our eyes to the term "unconditional love". All they ask in return are the basics of life – food, shelter and security.

As their guardians, we’re responsible to keep them healthy and safe. Feeding them, exercising them, entertaining them and keeping them out of harm’s way. You’d never allow them to play in a busy street near your home or walk without a leash in a crowd. Then why do so many families fail to take the most basic precaution to ensure their lost furry family friend a lifeline home?

So many families believe, unrealistically, that it can never happen to them. That their family pet would never get lost, run away or fail to return home. Statistically, it’ll happen to 1 in every 3 families and a collar is a flimsy guarantee!

Pet Microchipping is Safe

A pet microchip is an identifying integrated circuit placed under the skin of your family pet, typically between the shoulder blades. The chips are about the size of a large grain of rice and can be read with a scanning device used at most vets, shelters and rescues.

The majority of veterinarians and organizations processing lost animals will scan them for a microchip. If a microchip is found, its identification number will be displayed on the scanner and quickly cross-referenced against the registration database to identify the guardian. Emergency contacts are often added to the registration information just in case the guardian cannot be contacted.

Microchips have been used for decades and are responsible for uniting families with thousands of lost pets every year. Some researchers claim that microchips cause cancer at the implant location. While there may be some reason for concern, the studies that demonstrate a link between microchipping and cancer really aren't conclusive, for several reasons: The studies were mostly conducted on mice and rats; In cases where animals developed tumors at the site of implantation, there were usually vaccines administered in the same area; Trauma and inflammation at the site where the microchip is implanted could be responsible for tumor development, rather than anything inherent to the microchip.

Microchips are responsible for reuniting thousands of pets to their owners. They make identification immensely easier and save dogs and cats from being euthanized in shelters before their owners can find them.

Here’s Your Solution

Many who’ve considered microchipping the family furry friend get sticker shock when confronted with the investment. An implant fee of as high as $60 is common in some cities with registration fees of an additional $15 to $20 per year.

Fortunately, MicroChip USA has made accepting the responsibility to provide a lifeline home for your lost family pet affordable at $20 with no annual registration fee!

That’s the best value for peace of mind available!!
